Barny Fletcher’s Call Me By Your Name is a masterpiece in every sense of the word because it has so much heart and soul, leaving you wanting more and more and more.

The genre-bending star effortlessly fuses elements of pop and country in his latest song and it’s guaranteed that the catchy chorus will be stuck in your head for weeks on end. I love how uniquely distinctive his voice is, and how he’s not trying to be like anyone else. If I had to compare his music to someone though I’d say he’s Paul Simon for the modern day ear. 

Ever since Barny posted a snippet of Call Me By Your Name’s chorus to his TikTok account, I’ve been absolutely obsessed. No joke, I listened to it on a loop easily hundreds of times. So, when I saw that it was finally on streaming platforms, I literally ran! 

The stunning, reminiscent visuals filmed at a stately home have set the benchmark high for other emerging artists.

Barny Fletcher stars in Call Me By Your Name 

I could imagine it being featured in a BIG blockbuster movie during a nostalgic flashback scene. It evokes a strong feeling of pleasure and pain when you’re longing for your love interest but know you’ll never have them.  

I think it’s fair to say that Barny is the voice of his generation and I’m honoured to have him as this week’s favourite find. I’ve never been more excited for someone else’s career and can’t wait for him to really blow!
